Very Merry UNbirthday

Today was Jacob's UNbirthday at Preschool.  As you can tell by the photo, he was extremely excited.  He is now 5 and a HALF, which is almost as exciting as a real birthday.  The school celebrates summer birthdays on a random unbirthday day sometime during the year, his was on his half birthday which was apparently just as exciting.  We gave the school a present - a box of monster building toys from Lakeshore.  Jacob loves monsters right now.  These were cute ones, not scary ones though.  For their bday, each child gets a crown, birthday badge, and the boys get a cape.
Then they skip around the children as the school sings, in this case, "A Very Merry Unbirthday to You!".  Jacob skipped as FAST as he could.  It was thrilling.  Then he was the line leader all day.  It was a GREAT day at school - plus it was show-and-tell day.

The morning started with Yoga (being that it is Friday).  So of course I had to take some photos since I had my camera!  Preschoolers starting their day with yoga is just so cute!  Scotty enjoyed sitting right by Jacob.  This has always been each boys' favorite activity.  I loved watching Jacob do each perfect pose - like his feet in the photo above. He focused so closely on what the teacher was instructing them on doing and then would help Scotty try to do the same.  Sometimes Scotty was willing to try.
