Scotty comforts Michael after he stubs his toe really hard on some of the big blocks. He is a sweet thoughtful little boy, that is naturally empathetic. He loves his older brothers very much. He is quick to comfort, and quick to say sorry and "I didn't mean to!" This weekend has been a unique experience for these two as Peter and Jacob have been gone for the weekend. Usually Jacob and Scotty play together while Michael either does his own thing, or orchestrates a plan for the big boys. Without J here, Michael turned all his attention to his littlest brother! It has been lovely to watch. Of course Scotty has loved it, and I think Michael has really enjoyed it too. 
All afternoon they built blocks again. This time it was tunnels for the marbles to roll thru. Michael would gladly let Scotty take turns trying his precious rolling tunnel. This whole weekend he has been finding ways to include Scotty in everything he has been doing.
He takes this building very seriously! Scott and Gayle stopped by tonight to get a paint sample - after seeing the building masterpiece still in the living room he suggested to Mikey he could be an architect. Michael enjoyed the compliment! He had to tell him all about the biggest creation 2 days ago.
