Good Luck Alex!
Yesterday afternoon the boys and I worked on a baking project to take to Alex for Family Home Evening last night. We made a flag cake - I baked it (of course), Jacob did the blueberries, Michael the raspberries and Scotty learned to use the blender making the berry sauce that was consequently very well pureed.
After dinner we went down to Alex and Whitney's house to deliver our cake, tell him we love him dearly, hope for him that he is able to advance as he wants to in the Navy, and have a big family night. Nick and Karin came with all their kid-o's. We talked with Henry and Tianna on the computer (Henry was crying because he wanted to go out the door to SEE Scotty). A great night. We sure will miss Alex!
