The idea comes from a scripture in Jacob 4:3. He is a prophet in the Book of Mormon and is writing that he has worked very hard to inscribe on the plates of brass many teachings for his children's sake."that our children will receive them with thankful hearts,
and look upon them that they may learn with joy and not with sorrow."
I hope my children will appreciate and learn to love all types of learning - acknowledging the dedication of all teachers that enter their lives. And so we celebrated joyfully together with delicious food (pasta, fruit, salad and bread - all kid favorites here), balloon hats in school colors, candles, fancy cups and special dessert: pots de creme. Michael's first question: Can this be a tradition??!?!
