The Basement

 I affectionately call our basement "the cave".  Really because it is underground, and because the ceilings are short.  But the windows are big, and the bright mango walls brighten the space.  This house [like all those in the neighborhood] was built in 1942.  The basement was not fully finished into main living space - until we moved in!  We use every inch of it.
