Dear Santa,

J is 5 years old and is waiting desperately for Santa to fulfill all his toy dreams.  J is a toy lover, and has always been such.  2 hours of quiet alone time with a box of guys that have pose-able appendages and stand well is his perfect morning.  Usually they battle.  Yesterday they were sorted Bionicles by color in corals made by our wooden rainbow.  He was proud of his hard work behind the closed guest room door.

He came to me with construction paper and marker asking for help spelling  the words for his letter to Santa.  Knowing all the words he wanted to write, he needed help with some lower-case letters. Little "e" was the letter he learned with this page - and again he was very satisfied with his own work.  It took about 20 minutes to write the entire letter.  No doubt Santa will find Bionicles (J is so skilled at building them himself now) and the 12" G.I. Joes he dreams of.  But my favorite part is the last sentence of course (bless that sweet little heart), wanting Santa to know that he didn't want more than other children.  He was also saying in his little J way, that he wanted Santa to remember to give presents to ALL children too.  He can't bear the thought that some child might not get a present Christmas morning - neither can I!
