2 excited boys ready for the first day of school. New t-shirts and shoes. Jacob would try his new shirt on each night for a week just to see how it felt. Mikey has Mrs. Bauman. Jacob has Ms. Laura (who Michael also had in first grade, although she is on maternity leave right now and Ms. Sarah is his substitute). Michael woke up at 4:00 AM on this first day, so very excited! Jacob was a bit nervous, but once he saw his friends in his class, it was as fun as a birthday party.
