Scotty wears his bike helmet everywhere we go. Often people ask if I have biked (with my kids) to the....grocery store, to school, to the JCC...?! It would be a reasonable assumption judging by attire. But no. He wears his helmet all day. At school he does take it off to hang on his hook. Sometimes at home he is starting to give his head a "break". But if we leave the house, it goes back on. If someone asks him about it, he answers - "Well, you know, there are these things called
head injuries." Depending on how long they listen he goes into great detail about head injuries.
