L-O-V-E! It's all around this house. Valentine's Day with kid-o's is just tons of fun. I strategically placed some trays of stickers, doilies, pink & red construction paper, foam hearts and such on the toy room table a couple of days ago - and wham! It is like magic. Hearts have been showing up all over this house. Jacob mostly is the giver and maker. He loves writing little love notes to each of us and leaving them for each family member - busy at work while Michael is still at school. Candace comes tonight. Look what I found sitting on her pillow. How adorable is THAT! Jacob wanted to decorate her bed and asked for my help, but I was cooking dinner. Michael came to the rescue and this is what they came up with all on their own. LOVE IT! ...and so will she. The hearts are on both sides of the bed. J needed 44 valentines for school tomorrow. Being that he is the "master coloring champion" we went for a coloring project of course. He started yesterday, but still had many to finish. Mikey was so cute and asked if he could help tonight. Jacob said, "It was fun to color by myself, but with my big brother sitting next to me it is just so much more fun!!" Michael showed him lots of fun new ways to decorate. They were lovingeach other. My job was to tape a piece of candy to the center of each heart. He will deliver them tomorrow at the V-day Royal Ball. This year he is going as a King. It is all very exciting. Our 4th Royal Ball in a row. How I love that school. We had many discussions while coloring about dancing with girls. Michael assured him that it actually was kind of fun and he will probably learn to waltz. Jacob told us that he did know how to spin them, but he might just dance with boys. He's not sure.
