Another wonderful Christmas concert. Classes III, IV and V all performed on Friday morning to a packed audience of proud parents like myself! Peter was able to come because it was a Friday. Lucky us. Michael's favorite song was "O, Music" - a beautiful 16th century German carol. He said that he loves to have this "uplifiting song stuck in his head". He also specified that he particularly loved to tune and that it was peaceful and calming to him.
The older children all took turns on the extensive variety of xylophones. Michael played the alto glockenspiel. I loved watching his pleased smile at the end of each piece. He truly enjoyed the entire experience - learning the music, practicing, singing, performing. What a gift!
