Scotty now stays at school to eat his lunch. His kindergarten day gets longer as the year progresses. He loves staying to eat with friends, enjoy a long lunch recess and have a 15 minute rest after playing. It also means he gets extra science and music times at school, which he loves. When Scotty gets in the car he is all smiles. Every day we sing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer". Then we talk about the solar system. He is learning about it in science. He no longer likes Venus, because it is all made of ugly rock and has acid rain storms. Solar flares were also a favorite to learn about. He is excited to learn about all the dwarf planets next week [...and I can't even name them all. But he sure can!].
