Seeing me resting my head on the chair in the living room while sitting on the floor, Scotty comes to me and says, "Mom, do you need a hug?" and throws his arms around me.
Me: How did you know I needed a hug?
S: My brain told me. Did you know brains can talk?
Me: Can you hear your brain?
S: Yeah - sure. [He pauses and looks up towards the ceiling for about 20 seconds.] See? I could hear it!
Me: But I can't hear your brain, only you can.
S: Yes, I hear my brain and you hear your brain...and Colin hears his brain!!!
Me: What do you think Colin's brain says?
S: Wah! Wah! Wah! [pretending to cry and then he broke into a fit of giggles!!]
