Father's Day

Today is a great day to celebrate Peter! He is an amazing dad to our 4 boys. When he and I decided to start a family, I never imagined THIS. We have a house full of boys, which means a house full of love and joy! Wrestling, Legos, basketball, Bionicles, wrestling, guys, block castles, water fights, wrestling, balls, adventuring, drawing, wrestling, cooking, and a whole bunch of love. This week in particular my boys have had so much fun playing with each other. They are excited for Dad to come home - and will do anything to avoid having me put them to bed. That is Dad's job - and their special time with him at the end of long days. Colin is particularly a Daddy's boy. That baby prefers Peter any time he gets a chance to be in his arms!

We celebrated by letting him sleep in (until 9). Then the boys woke him up, ready to take his order for breakfast in bed. Michael put a waiter's jacket on Scotty who was carrying a mini cinnamon roll and strawberry to Dad. Jacob carried the menu, which Michael wrote out. Michael carried the stack of cards. A fun family morning.
