The last day of school was Thursday. Jacob literally cried for 2 days dreading the end of his very fun days. It was very sweet. He has such a sensitive heart. He will miss his friends and teachers. He loved Kindergarten with all his heart! Ms. Courtney and Ms. Susan loved those little kindergarteners - welcoming them with huge hugs and helping them make really great friends. Michael on the other hand is ready for a break. He loved school too - and had some of the best teachers I could have imagined for him. Ms. Julie and Ms. Cassi gave him the freedom to go where his curios mind would take him. He truly felt understood and valued by them both.
School ended with a music program and the "Step-Up" ceremony where each class steps-up to the next grade on the stage with parents clapping. The music show was all Beatles songs. It was adorable. Jacob's class sang Octopuses Garden, and Michael's class sang & rocked out to Twist and Shout. What a great school and a great year!
