We made ice crystal flowers.
Peter helped stamp on paper bags for luminaries (aka ice crystal lanterns). Wrote winter snow stories, and made snow globes. Inside each snow globe was a shrinky-dink drawing of each child that they had previously made. This was the first performing day Peter has attended in the 5 years we have had children at this school!! It was so much fun to have him there, and share the magic of these wonderfully creative days.
Scotty loves dancing and singing at school. They sang, "Chubby Little Snowman", a Japanese snow song, among others all as parts of the story. His class did a snowstorm dance. He was the wind. All of their dancing and singing is with a live piano music - they are so lucky to have Mr. Jim playing the piano all day. At the end of this play, the children rode away in "sleds" pulled by "polar bears" - long pieces of parachute fabric, pulled by the dads!

Super duper cute! You've given me the umph to shake up our Sunday Waffles and venture out. Love reading this when I can!
Adorable. Scotty's eyes kill me. They are so big and expressive.
