This is our new routine in the afternoons. After a giant snack of sandwiches, chips and juice, we gather in the homework room [which we sometimes call the Studio], and everyone pulls out their daily work. Scotty has 10 minutes, Jacob has 40, and Michael has a whole hour every day. It is new to us, and my brain feels a bit lost in all the individual schedules...but we are figuring it out. We really love all hanging out in here together - it feels cozy, inspiring, industrious and welcoming. Colin always joins in too! "My-Turn" he yells, finding his own supplies to copy what any brother is working on. Michael thrives on this routine and expectations. Jacob is struggling a bit - he is so tired after school. Scotty is now interested in coloring for the first time in his life.
