The annual school auction was tonight at McGillis. We did not attend, nor do we ever. But this year I did make the 3rd grade class project with Michael and all his classmates to sell. We sewed a quilt of course. This extra large picnic blanket was a simple strip quilt that 3B learned to sew. I brought my machine to school. The kids each picked a strip to sew on - I let them sit at the machine and sew! It was totally fun - it seemed the boys especially loved using the sewing machine. Anyway, I hope it sold for tons of money tonight!
