Monday was a day off of school. Jacob earned back his video games by doing chores all morning (after privileges were promptly revoked after a brother fight Sunday night). Michael went to a friend's house for the day. Jacob and Scotty played video games for an hour after lunch. Then, I suggested that the boys head outside and play together. They both rolled their eyes at me, but the suggestion soon became a requirement. I looked outside moments later to find Jacob giving Scotty lacrosse lessons. It was adorable. Scotty loved learning from his super-star brother, and Jacob loved imparting his wisdom. Jacob was encouraging, while teaching new skills and correcting bad form. They both loved this forced time together, that lasted most of the afternoon. xxoo
