Colin turns 3 next month, but missed the cutoff date for most preschools. I delayed signing him up for anything, wanting to keep him home with me every second. Talking with my mom a few weeks ago, she reminded me that HE is very ready for school and would love every minute of it. Of course she was right, and I knew it too.
Tuesday was his first day. He chose what he wanted to wear. He was most excited to wear his own backpack to put in his own cubby. After a quick tour of the classroom he waved us a quick goodbye anxious for us to leave him at his OWN school. Of course he loved every minute of it and was upset Wednesday wasn't a school day as well. He feels like a big boy and is so proud of himself.
