Bravo!

After the matinee on the grass outside the theater, these 3 brothers hugged and cheered!  Michael gave Jacob a big hug saying, "Jacob!  You were amazing!!  You are such a great dancer!! I didn't know you were so great!".  Thank you Michael.  Jacob was beaming from ear to ear.  Scotty handed him 2 bags of candy - instead of flowers!  They were so excited to sit next to the family star for a photo.  I love moments of sincere brother love - it goes a long way.

I went back for the evening performance.  The theater was packed - not an empty seat.  When those 4 boys got on stage the crowd went crazy - unlike anything we had heard for any other dance!!  The cheering got louder as the boys began to dance.  I was in the second row - watching the faces of our boys.  As soon as they heard those screams and cheers, all 4 broke into huge smiles...then the fun began!  Each boy let loose, having the time of their life dancing on that stage!  It only made the crowd cheer more as the boys were laughing and smiling with each other as they were performing.  All the antics with the song, made the crowd laugh at the right parts, cheer at the tricky moves, and go crazy when the the dance concluded!

Jacob said that when the were walking back to their dressing room at the end of their dance, all the girls poked their heads out of their rooms to cheer for them as well.  It was a celebrity moment - and he LOVED it!  What a totally fun night!

I also loved seeing him on stage for the finale - the 2 youngest up there for the Jazz section of the company.  Dancing with 100 older girls in a fun & beautiful finale - kids in all different colors by class, streaming across the stage, clumping together, moving as a group and rocking out at the end.  As the curtain close you could hear them all cheer with each other.  One of the best days yet.
